Neal A. Dunithan

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Neal Andrew Dunithan share the news of his passing on December 21, 2025.

Neal was born on April 2, 1984 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Randy and Linda (Champion) Dunithan, who survive.
He graduated from Galesburg-Augusta High School, Class of 2002, where he participated in wrestling, football and track. He placed 6th in the MHSAA State Wrestling Finals. He went on to become a referee and coach in those sports he loved.

He attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College (KVCC) and Joint Apprenticeship Training (JATC). He had worked in the sheet metal/HVAC industry, following in the footsteps of his dad and grandpa. He attained Journeyman status with Sheet Metal Workers International Association (SMWIA), Local 7.
He had been a Regional Leader at Primerica Financial Services.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by sons, Bryce, Logan and Jordan Dunithan; brother, Grant (Katlyn) Dunithan; and nephews, Owen and Carson Dunithan.

Also surviving are aunts and uncles, Julie MacDonell, Chris (Karyn) Champion, Steve (Sandi) Champion, Wanda Hartman, Vicki (Mark) Lewis, Garry (Mary) Dunithan, and many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Tom and Opal Dunithan, Clayton and Alberta Champion; aunts and uncles, Tom MacDonell, Bob (Mary) Dunithan, Rose Smith, Pat Ruhstorfer, Gary Hartman, Dee (Duane) Rock, Rick (Dorothy) Dunithan, Linda Morgan, Ross (Gale) Dunithan; several cousins and friends.

The past several years had been difficult for Neal. He is no longer struggling and he is finally free.
