Jeffrey Lee Dando

Jeffrey Lee Dando, age 51, passed away at Bronson Hospital on January 8, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Jeff was born in Kalamazoo on March 9, 1974. He was a kind, generous and loving husband, father, grandfather and son who will be missed by those who loved him. A passion for automobiles led to a career at Sprinkle Road Automotive. Jeff was a gifted mechanic and spent more than twenty years helping others stay on the road. When not working he enjoyed cruising in his 1980 Malibu with the big block engine. He also enjoyed going to and participating in drag races. He loved animals especially his pet dog “Oliver”. Having a granddaughter brought a special level of joy and excitement to his life. Jeff loved those closest to him and leaves behind the legacy of a life well lived. On July 19, 2003, he was united in marriage to his long-time companion Kimberly Kennedy-Dando who survives. He is also survived by a loving son, Justin (Tayler) Dando; granddaughter, Memphis Dando; mother, Karen Eagle; siblings, Shawn (Susan) Dando, Amanda Eagle; in-laws, Sharon Caron, Donald (Sally) Kennedy; sister and brother-in-law, Michelle Kennedy, Brian (Amy) Kennedy; nieces and nephew, Brandon, Payton and Sabrina; extended family and friends. He was preceded in passing by his stepfather, David Eagle.
