John H. Arnold

Age 83, of Kalamazoo passed away Sunday February 22, 2026, at Kairos Dwelling. John was born February 1, 1943, in Hastings the son of Cyle and Rose Marie (Peek) Arnold. John retired from the Public Works Department at the City of Kalamazoo and enjoyed bowling and playing horseshoes. On July 9, 1966, in Kalamazoo John was united in marriage to Shirley Ann (Blett) Arnold who preceded him in death on July 11, 2019. Also preceding him were his parents; sister, Carlene Watson; brother Bill Yoho. Surviving are four children, John (Cheri) Gundrum, Ron Arnold, David Arnold, Robin (Matt) Dean; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four brothers, Jim Arnold, Gene Arnold, Vern Johnson, Larry Arnold; sister, Judy Weirs.
