Grace M. Stiegemeyer age 80 of Kalamazoo passed away Wednesday morning, March 4, 2026. Grace was born in Bay City, MI, on January 31, 1946, the daughter of Ivan and Leona (Ruhl) Sloggett. On September 11, 1965, she married John Charles Stiegemeyer who preceded her in death in 2021. Grace is survived by her daughter, Kim Stiegemeyer of Atlantic, IA; son, Ted Stiegemeyer of Kalamazoo; granddaughter, Alixandrea (Brandon) Allen-Mielke; sisters, Janet Schnell and Susan Hodder; sister in law, Mardi (Mike) Smith; brothers in law, Jim Stiegemeyer, David (Rebekah) Stiegemeyer, Tom (Kellie) Stiegemeyer; nieces and nephews; and countless friends. Besides her husband, Grace was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Thomas Sloggett. | |
