Stephanie Wright age 64 of Kalamazoo left us to join her Heavenly Father late Friday morning, April 3, 2026. Stephanie was born in Kalamazoo on October 1, 1961, the daughter of Ronald and Sandra Loleta (Hanko) Wright. Stephie, as she was known to family and Yo-Yo to her friends, loved life. She was up for any adventure. Stephie was an avid bowler. She loved visiting the casinos and Las Vegas and enjoyed gambling. She had a variety of musical interests and enjoyed going to concerts. She loved everyone, especially her great nieces and nephews. Her faith was very important to her and she loved her church family. Stephie is survived by her sister, Ronalie (John) Turcott; brother, Kurk (Hillary) Wright; nieces and nephews, Mathew (Alyssa) Moon, Nathan Moon, Taylor (Joe) Cronk; great-nieces and nephews, Percy, Violet, Ayla, and Lachlan Moon, Dawson, Brooks, and Gianna Cronk; aunts, Daryl Wright and Madelyn Patrick; and many friends, especially Kristy, Mo, Trish and Nancy. Stephie was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Wright; mother, Sandra Elwell; and stepfather, Thomas Elwell. | |
