Timothy Randall Strong, 46, of Climax, Michigan passed away on June 18, 2026, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Tim is survived by his wife Lisa Strong (née Spicer), his brothers Jonathan and Adam Strong, his parents Terry and Melissa Strong, his son Paxson Strong, and his niece Daphne Strong. Tim loved the creation and expression of all forms of art. A passionate chef, he cherished time with Pax exploring food, sharing Pax’s achievements in cooking competitions, and constantly creating new culinary “experiments.” Tim loved to cook enough for a crowd, even if only two people were eating. He also loved adding spices to any dish, often making it too hot for us mere mortals. Tim’s tastebuds were battle-tested soldiers, that’s for sure. Music was another cornerstone of Tim’s life. Having what can only be described as an eclectic taste, Tim shared his love of music (and playlists) with everyone he met… whether they liked it or not. No artist was too obscure, no track too long, and no genre off limits. As with music and food, Tim also devoured the written word. His appetite for literature knew no bounds, and his library spanned every genre, author, and era. Whether fantasy, science fiction, philosophy, biography, history, and especially comic books, Tim loved them all. The candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long, and while Tim is gone, his memories, his stories, and his impact lives on. A jokester, a prankster, and sometimes a right bastard, Tim was pure adventure. If something seemed cool, Tim wanted it. If something sounded exciting, Tim was in. His carefree, fun-loving attitude endeared his memory to his many friends, and if you knew him, you knew he could spin a story for hours. Above all things, the Dude abided. | |
