Lou Ann Hardy

Age 76, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 after a long, valiant battle with Huntington’s disease. A resident of Portage since 2007, Lou Ann was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois on April 9, 1940 to the late Alexander and Eleanor Lucas. Reared in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, she graduated from Southside High School and the International Business School. Lou Ann’s life was spent as a supportive wife and mother; doting grandmother and a ground-breaking broadcast media executive. She leaves behind her daughter, Synthia Hardy Kushner; grandson, Lucas Penn Hardy Kushner; granddaughter in-law, Alisha Rae Ciardi Kushner and many happy memories.
