Age 89 passed away on Friday, April 27th, 2018 in Kalamazoo. She was born on December 11, 1928, in Somerset, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter to Clyde and Elizabeth Bowman. After completing college at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, she began teaching. On August 25, 1951, she married the love of her life, Nicholas F. Ostrosky and they enjoyed 60 years of marriage together. June enjoyed many things, especially sewing, ceramics, knitting, gardening and had a love of dogs. She raised her family in Galeton, PA, and moved to Florida in retirement. June enjoyed traveling and cruising with her husband all over the world. June was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her brother John Bowman. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Steve (Maureen) Ostrosky, Greensboro, Georgia; Kathryn Ostrosky, Rochester, New York; Joseph Ostrosky, Menominee Falls, Wisconsin; James (Karen) Ostrosky, Gibsonia, Pennsylvania; Nicholas (Barbara) Ostrosky, Portage, MI; and her beloved grandchild, Christine Ostrosky, Washington, DC. | |
