Richard is survived by his son, Jason (Casey) Mischen of Kalamazoo; a granddaughter, Camille; brother, Randy (Amy) Blankenship of Holland; long time friend, Jane; nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Lee (Keaton) Smith.
