Age 67, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 in Paw Paw. John was born on November 17, 1952 in Watervliet, Michigan, the son of Thomas and Wanda Johnson. John was an accomplished brick and concrete mason and retired after many years of crafting his work. He was an avid collector, with many NASCAR treasures and had a love of custom swords. He was a fun man many with a great sense of humor. John was always laughing and making jokes and was always the life of the party. He also loved outdoor activities, especially fishing, camping and his annual fishing trips with his fishing buddies (“No-Name”, “Good Boy”, “Crusher”, “Sally, Pooty Tang” and “Hamilton”). Most recently, he and his family were able to take a trip to Florida with and spent precious time with each other. John was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved son, Jonathon Johnson, brothers Tommie Johnson, Jr. and Billy Ray Johnson, as well as his special girlfriend, Carlene Allen. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Michael Johnson, Jessie (Justin) Rider, Jeromie Johnson, Bo James Johnson, sisters, Mary (Guy) Jenkins, Wanda (James) Webb, Gloria (Lloyd) Sexton and Patty (Farrell) Edwards. He will also be missed greatly by his grandchildren Payton, and Makenna Johnson, Jeremy & Amp; Jason Johnson, Dalesha, Tranisha, Felesha and Bo James, Payton Johnson, as well as his great children, Jayden, Reed, Connor, Brantley, Rome, Hutchin, McKenley and Rainden. |
