Edna K. Henegar

August 16, 1937 - June 10, 2020

Passed away June 10, 2020 in Kalamazoo , MI. She is survived by her brothers and sisters John (Darlene), Rich (Ginny (d)), Sandy and Carol (Bill) Chapman; her children Kathryn (Larry) Renuart, Lonnie (Diana) Henegar, David (Debbie) Henegar, Paul (Ann-Marie) Henegar, Amy Henegar (Scott), James (Julie) Henegar, 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents George and Bernice (Nowak) Gazley, her brother George Gazley, and her husband and soulmate Lonnie R. Henegar.

Edna grew up in Detroit and had a passion for life, family and the arts. She was a free spirit and gave freely to all those she came in contact with. She was an avid traveler, pinnacle player, humanitarian and community volunteer. She loved being a daughter, sibling, wife, mother and grandmother and was so proud of how her family had grown, loved and gave back to the community. Her love of the arts allowed her to create beautiful quilts, murals and stories that will be shared by her family for decades to come.

Edna was tough as nails and a force to be reckoned with but a heart as big as the SKY!
