Age 66, passed away on January 3, 2021. Rich was born in Detroit, on July 14, 1954, the son of Aram and Margaret (Holland) Davidson. He attended Spring Arbor College where he played many sports. He was a multi-sport athlete who remained physically active until his final days. He was a fan of all the Detroit teams, especially the Red Wings. For 26 years he worked as an analyst at the Kalamazoo Waste Water Treatment Reclamation Plant. He loved politics and history. He also was a well-versed historian of classic and current movies. He enjoyed boating and fishing. Rich was curious, outgoing and loved to experience life to the fullest. He was endlessly generous and would give anyone the shirt off his back if they needed it. Rich will be remembered as being a loving father and grandfather who gave everything to his family. Rich is survived by his sons, Oliver Davidson of Chicago, Michael (Caryn) Davidson of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Jackson Richard Davidson and Michael Davidson; brothers, Mark Davidson, Tommy Davidson and Stewart Davidson; sisters, Deborah Davidson, Victoria Davidson and Marguerite Davidson; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dwight. A graveside memorial service will be held this spring or summer at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Kalamazoo. |
