David W. Dickens

Age 53, passed away January 30, 2022. David was born in Emporia VA, on August 9, 1968. On July 5, 1992, he married Angela Sorrentino who survives him. David enjoyed riding dirt bikes. He was huge football fan, and more recently enjoyed fantasy football. He loved guns and had started a nice collection of them. David was a great jokester and loved making people laugh. He also enjoyed cooking and grilling.  Nothing was more important to him than his family and he enjoyed spending time with them. He was an all-around good guy. He was a teddy-bear and his bear hugs will be missed. Besides his wife, David is also survived by his children Stephanie Dickens and Sean Dickens, both of Kalamazoo; sisters, Susan Stanton and Lori Dickens; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; his mother-in-law, Ellie DeHart sister-in-law, Missie Sorrentino; and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Viola Margaret Blanchard.
