Age 68, passed away early Sunday morning, July 31, 2022. Rick was born in Anchorage, AK, on February 5, 1954, the son of Gerald and Barbara (Pilkey) Almlie. Rick proudly served his country in the United States Air Force in Japan as a lab tech. He was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings. He also enjoyed fishing. Rick is survived by his daughter, Jazmin (Matthew) Almlie-Ryan; granddaughter, Rebekah; mother, Barbara Almlie; sister, Sandra (Phillip Georgeau) Almlie; brothers, David (Penny) Almlie, Eric (Kathrine) Almlie; several nieces and nephews; aunts, Patricia (Rev. Fr. Andrew) Harrison and Anita Tellock; and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his father; and an infant sister.
