March 7, 1948 - June 5, 2017 In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place and a memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on August 12, 2017, at 2:00 PM, at Trowbridge Township Hall in Allegn. He will be laid to rest at Ft. Custer National Cemetery on August 14, 2017, time to be announced. |

Age 69, passed away at Bronson Hospital on Monday, June 5, 2017. He was born in San Mateo, CA, on March 7, 1948, the son of the late David and Eloise (Miller) Havice. He spent much of his life in California and moved to Michigan in 1980. Andy loved his country and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War until being honorably discharged. He remained passionate about our country and was always proud to have served. He loved reading and studying war history. He also enjoyed bird watching, being outdoors and for many years worked for the family business Coast Wholesale Florist. After he retired from the union as a carpenter, he was able to do more traveling especially by train with the Grand Canyon being one of his favorite destinations. He loved his family and friends and will be missed by those who loved him. He is survived by two children, Jessica (Brock) Boyer, David (Janis) Havice; six grandchildren, Brandon, Kevin, Jacob and Isabella Boyer and Anson and Arlo Havice; a foster granddaughter, Aiyana Yeaman; three siblings, JoAnne (Larry) Rosseel, Marjorie (Don Carey) Havice and Dan (Kathie) Havice; many nieces, nephews and friends. |
