October 17, 1929 - February 8, 2017 In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place a private graveside service will be held at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park and a celebration of her life will be held in the spring, her favorite time of year. The service date and time will be announced. |

Age 87, passed away on February 8, 2017. Marilyn was born in Flint, MI, on October 17, 1929, the daughter of the late George and Hazel Moss. She was also preceded in passing by two brothers, Don Moss and Ray Brown. Marilyn was kind and loving with a great personality. She loved to be around family and friends. She attended Wesleyan Methodist Church. Marilyn leaves to cherish her memory a son, Brian (Darleen) Root; two daughters, Rebecca (Jim Olney) Cowley and Brenda (Scott Adams) Root; three grandchildren, Jason (Veronica) Barker, Brian (Jessica) Lowman, Emily Root; great-grandson, Christopher. | |
