June 19, 1955 - December 11, 2025 Burial Date: December 18, 2025 A funeral service to honor and celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM, at Christian Assembly of God Church, 7835 Lovers Ln. Portage, MI 49002. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 AM, one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Portage Central Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Christian Assembly of God church, c/o the funeral home. |

Mark E. Pick, age 70, passed away at his home on December 11, 2025, with his loving wife at his side. He was born in New Castle, PA, on June 19, 1955, the son of the late Charles and Lillian (Benke) Pick. Mark was a kind and generous man who was a joy to know. He lived a life founded in faith and his smile and handshake will be missed at Christian Assembly of God Church. He found great comfort and hope from reading his bible and found amazing ways to help serve others, especial children. He worked hard at SpartanNash for many years where he made many friends with his coworkers. He was very handy and could always be leaned on to help fix or build things. Mark was a gifted artist and woodworker. One of his many works may be seen on display at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids; he also donated works to St. Michael’s Church and many other places. More than anything Mark loved his family and his friends. On March 31, 1996, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Jasmine Otoofi, who survives. To know Mark was to love him and he will be missed and remembered by all who did. | |
