Age 35, died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Michael was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on June 22, 1983, the son of Robert S. and Melinda M. (Kellogg) Scott. He was a graduate of Gull Lake High School. Michael was currently employed with Green Hill Apartments, working in the maintenance department. He had a deep love for the water, especially rivers where he had over 20 years of experience kayaking or canoeing. He was a member of the Kalamazoo River Rats water club where he leaves behind many friends. Michael is survived by his children, Cody and Emily Scott; parents, Bob and Melinda Scott; brother, Joshua (Jenna) Scott; niece and nephew, Nalyssa and Parker Scott; grandmother, Jean Scott; aunt, Suzie (Nick) Wickstrom; uncles, Ron (Sue) Kellogg and Gordy Scott; as well as several cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank Scott and Ron and Mary Kellogg and uncle, Don Kellogg. | |
