February 13, 1990 - December 3, 2017 A memorial service to celebrate Stephanie’s life will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017, beginning at 3:00 PM at Radiant Church, 8157 East DE Avenue, Richland, MI 49083. The family will receive visitors at the church beginning at 2:00 PM, one hour prior to the service. |

Age 27, passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 3, 2017 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Stephanie was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on February 13, 1990. She was a 2008 graduate of Portage Central High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Western Michigan University in 2014. Stephanie was currently a teacher at WoodsEdge Learning Center. She is survived by her parents, Shelly (John Proxmire) Hirdning and Jeff Hirdning; sister, Shelby Hirdning; grandparents, Susan (Don) Teske, James (Bonnie) Erskine and Laura Hirdning; great-grandmothers, Connie Lovejoy and Marcella Erskine; aunts and uncles, Stacy Erskine, Mark (Jennifer) Hirdning, Brian (Mary) Hirdning and Brian Irwin and several cousins. Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandfather, Raymond Hirdning. | |
