Phyllis J. Orton

Age 73, died at home on Monday May 20, 2019.  Phyllis was born in Kalamazoo on August 19, 1945 to Robert H. and Helen (Wolthuis) Oswalt. She attended MSU and  worked for many years at Fifth/Third Bank as Assistant Manager. She enjoyed spending time with her family and also loved to sew, quilt and read. She especially had a fondness for NASCAR. On October 18, 1967, Phyllis married Gene Orton and they most recently celebrated 51 years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Eaton and her parents. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Gene, their son Rob (Pamela) Orton of Schoolcraft, as well as their beautiful daughter, Sophia.
