Matthew, I am heartbroken that you are gone. You, your sisters and cousins are my own as you all well know. You were such a vibrant and fun-loving kid you’re whole life. You had such a giving soul. Though you struggled over the years, you never lost your gentle soul. I’ll miss you buddy, but know you will always be in my heart. Love your Uncle Scott.

My buddy Matt, you taught me more about myself then you know. Because of you I took the time to understand my native heritage. Your sense of humor makes me laugh today, thinking of the day you brought D O G home. You also taught me about my own mental health at times. I love you, and will miss you. RIH Buddy.

Absolutely shaken by the news of Matt’s passing. I will never forget the times growing up with Matt in the neighborhood, playing all day until the street lights came on. He and I just reminisced last week about that. Horribly sad to know he is gone. Thinking of you Debra, Holly, Brooke and Jadyn, I am heartbroken for you all. Matt will never be forgotten. Ever.
