A service in witness to Terry’s life and faith will be held at Temple Baptist Church, at a later date. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to Temple Baptist Church.
Obituary
Age 67, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021. Terry was born in Kalamazoo, on July 9, 1953, the son of Loren D. and Marian (Hale) Norman. Terry was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He had some nephews who were his special fishing buddies. He enjoyed being in the Upper Peninsula. There was nothing more important to him than his grandchildren and he loved spending time with them. Terry is survived by his children, Jill (Mike) Needham of Augusta, Shirley (Alban “Melvin”) Karalash of Mayfield, KY, Todd (Melissa) Norman of Kalamazoo; 8 grandchildren; mother, Marian Norman; siblings, Douglas (Shirley) Norman of Richland, Laurie Liska of Climax, Scott Bowen of Otsego; special nieces, Lindi Watts-Shield, and Hannah Shield; several other nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Jacquelyn Brunell; and many close friends.
I wish that I would have got to spend more time with Uncle Terry growing up!! But the man I knew had so much love for everyone!! He will be missed by so many!!
My heart-felt condolences for the family, The Norman family has been country of our family for many years and have been good friends and neighbors to us all. May God Bless you with your loving memories to keep him with you always.
