A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home, 917 S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo. Memorial contributions may be made to Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services, in c/o the funeral home.
Obituary
Age 57, passed away Sunday night, May 28, 2023. Frank was born in Anaheim, CA, on March 21, 1966, the son of Robert and Norma (Vallier) Hudson. Frank was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed watching his sons growing up, especially at their hockey and baseball games. He was a little league coach for many years. Frank was obsessed with his dogs Gunnar and Ozzie. Frank is survived by his sons, Garrett Hudson of Mattawan and Logan (Calli) Hudson of Mattawan; sisters, Debra (Bill) Schmidt, Julie (Wayne) Roberts; sister-in-law, Sharon Hudson; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and many, many friends, including his former wife, Kris Hudson. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dave Hudson.
I met Frank through my daughter Morgan. She was dating Logie. Frank was always a great person to me when I talked with him at Logie’s hockey games. Frank always treated Morgan with love and respect. In my eyes a great guy. I know his sons will work through this. One more thing: We loved Gunner too. Watched that old dog a few times. Peace Frank: See you on the other side brother. Al
