Obituary
Age 81, passed away Thursday morning, August 15, 2024. Keith was born in Kalamazoo on December 15, 1942, the son of Don B. and Helen H. (Huyck) Ranger. On November 6, 1965, he married Judith Lewis who survives him. Keith proudly served his nation in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed bowling, golf and fishing. He and Judy enjoyed travelling to the Smokey Mountains where they camped and hiked. Over the years he and Judy had several pets, including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, sheep and goats. Nothing was more important to him than his family. He loved attending the sporting events of his children and granddaughter. His absence will leave a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. Besides his wife, Keith is survived by his children, Michelle (Stan) Nowacki, Kristine (David Seth Rodlund) Ranger; granddaughter, Sophia Ranger; brother, D. Bruce Ranger; sister-in-law, Royal Ranger; brother-in-law, David Brown; several nieces and nephews; and many friends, including his four-legged Corgi friend, Brodie. Keith was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Glen Ranger and Gene Ranger; sister, Joyce Brown.
I love you so much daddy. I may not have always been the best daughter, but you were always the best father and grandfather. Always there for us.
Judy and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed my time working with Keith. He was passionate about his work, always striving for the best. I was honored to work with him.
Dad, I still am finding it hard to believe that we’ll not see or talk to each other again in this life. I hope and pray that you are now whole and at peace. Thank you for everything. Until we meet again. Love, your Daughter.
