Angel, known as “Nanny” by her many nieces and nephews, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 with family and other loved ones by her side. Angel was born on October 3, 1961, the eighth of ten children, born to Frederick and Christine (Betras) Fischer of Augusta. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Andy J. Fischer. Angel is survived by her siblings, Gary (Jeanette) Fischer, Cathy (David) Richmond, Paula (Chuck) Herr, Cindy (Russ) Hubbert, Beth (Sam Harper) Graybeal, Julie Lytle, Fred Fischer and Christopher Fischer; and generations of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Angel enjoyed being around her family and was actively involved in her church, especially children’s ministries. She loved the Lord and loved teaching the little ones about Jesus.
