Ann Margaret “Annie” Bair, aged 61, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 22, 2026. She was born on December 15, 1964, the daughter of the late Auris and Olive (Thomas) Bair. Annie was loved and treasured as a gift from God by all who knew her. She loved her Lord and loved to pray for people as part of the prayer team at New Day Community Church. She also was liable to randomly pray for people too, if they mentioned an ailment in her presence. Annie’s favorite song was Amazing Grace, and that’s what she experienced and what we experienced through her.
Annie attended the McKercher Rehabilitation Center, the John F. Kennedy Center for students with special needs in Kalamazoo, the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, and created art at Shalom Kalamazoo at the Woolery. She participated in Special Olympics, playing bocce ball, and went to prom with her brothers at the Tim Tebow’s Night to Shine (where she did indeed shine). Annie learned sign language, which she used to joke around with people and show her appreciation for them. Annie also learned to play the piano and read music, taking lessons from her mother and from instructor and family friend, Marion Wood, and performing in several recitals.
Annie loved bowling and playing bowling games on her iPad. She was a potholder-maker extraordinaire and an unbeatable UNO player. One of her favorite things was to ride in the car as it drove through a car wash.
Annie is survived by her brothers, Thomas Bair, Jack (Sheila) Bair, Richard (Bonnie) Bair; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Auris and Olive Bair, and sister Susan (Robert) Brower.
