A memorial service to honor and celebrate Benno’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, beginning at 11:00 am, at Zion Lutheran Church, 2122 Bronson Blvd. Kalamazoo, MI 49008. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 am, one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church (Endowment Fund) or the Tree of Life School, c/o the funeral home.

Age 93, of Portage, passed away on October 25, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Holweg, Worthburgen, Poland, the son of the late Alexander and Olga (Beutler) Rosin.
Benno loved his family, was an avid gardener, traveled the United States and the world making friends wherever he went. Along with his bride Carol, they spent many years tramping through the woods in Mesick hunting for Morels.

Benno worked at various machine shops as a mold maker finally settling down at Mol-Bee which then became Mol-Son where he remained until his retirement in 1996.

He has survived war, fire, pitchfork accidents and much more. He has a loving God who watched over him every step of the way.

Benno is survived by his loving wife Carol; four children, Karen (Daniel) Bradley, Scott (Jonelle) Rosin, Timothy (Melissa) Rosin, Lori (Matt) Breuker; grandchildren, Amy Bradley, Rachel (Justin) Bell, Tara (Shane) Pitchford, Cassie (Zach) Lovall, Erin (Grady) Phelan, Margarette (Daniel) Feyen, Alex (Shelby) Rosin, Jared (AJ) Rosin, Grace Eerdmans, Josiah and Eden Rosin, Nick (Hannah) Breuker, Abby (Jake) Pickett; many great-grandchildren; sister, Ursula (Mike) Paulson; extended family and friends. He was also preceded in passing by four siblings, Zigmund, Alice, Ericka and Irmela.
