Visitation will be held at the church on the same day, beginning at 10 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Lord of Life Lutheran Church.

Age 78, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Bette was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan on February 17, 1943, the daughter of the late Robert H. and Kathryn (Heyn) Orth. On September 19, 1986, she was united in marriage to Claude “Jack” Lawrence who survives. Bette is also survived by her sons, William (Carol) and Jeffery Martin; grandson, Jonathan Martin; special cousin, Loren (Mark) Skerencak and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-son, Jeffery Lawrence. Bette was a lifelong member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church.
