Age 91, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2022, at Lakeview Hospital in Paw Paw with family at her side. She was born in Kalamazoo on July 14, 1930, the daughter of the late Ernest and Nora (Dowell) Guess. Betty was kind, gentle and loving. She led a quiet and peaceful life and will be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by two brothers, Robert (Susan) Guess and Jerry Guess; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in passing by three siblings, Shirley Caswell, Larry Guess and Ernest Guess. A graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Mattawan on Monday, January 10, 2022, at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, c/o the funeral home.
