Sprinkle Rd., Vicksburg, MI 49097. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Attendants are welcome to dress comfortably. Bonnie will be laid to rest at Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park, South. Memorial contributions may be made to Vicksburg Bible Church, in c/o the funeral home.

Age 76, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023. Bonnie was born in Kalamazoo on January 14, 1947, the daughter of Russell and Betty Jean (Gregg) Stockwell Sr. She was an avid quilter. Bonnie was employed by Portage Rapid Cut and had many other jobs, including at Di’s Diner, where she created the Deuces Club for children of all ages. Most memorably, she was the Principal at the Last Chance School, where she did hours of tutoring and mentored many at-risk children. Bonnie loved travelling, playing cards, bingo and cribbage. She was a member of the VFW Post 6252 Auxiliary and Vicksburg Bible Church. Bonnie volunteered in many other areas of her life. She enjoyed the holidays and dressing up as Mrs. Claus and the Easter Bunny. Nothing was more important to her than her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Bonnie is survived by her children, Clifford (Di) Austin of Vicksburg, Penny (Chad) Harmon of Mendon, Tammy Austin of Vicksburg and Pam (Andy) Averill of Three Rivers; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; siblings, Tuff Gregg, Nancy Timmons, Harold Stockwell, Russell (Laura) Stockwell, Jr. and Cindy Stockwell; several step-children and step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William Stockwell.
