A service to honor and celebrate Chet’s life will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 30, 2023, beginning at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Ken Smeader officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Interment will be held at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the NCHV (National Coalition for Homeless Veterans), c/o the funeral home.

Age 82, passed away at his home on January 20, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Kalamazoo on April 3, 1940, the son of the late George and Bernice (Sparks) Robb. After graduating from Comstock High School, Class of 1958, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He loved being on the ships and was proud of the time he spent serving our country. He was honorably discharged and returned to make Southwest Michigan his home. He began working as a machinist and on November 11, 1967, married the love of his life Hope D. (Root) Robb who survives. Chet was kind, loving and a joy to know. A quiet and gentle man; Chet was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother who leaves behind many wonderful memories. He enjoyed trains; loved watching them go by and model railroading. He enjoyed working and riding on his motorcycle. He also enjoyed traveling to the family cabin up north and spending a Sunday watching football or playing golf. Above all Chet loved his family and friends and he will be missed. He is also survived by a daughter, Sunday (Barry) Brizendine; grandchildren, Auddie, Travis, Chet (Jamie), Elizabeth, Dylan (Elizabeth); ten great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends. He was also preceded in passing by two sons, George and Auddie Terry; grandson, Tim Terry; brother, George Robb; sister, Marlene Pelto.
