A visitation will be held at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home on Friday, June 7, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A funeral will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 8, 2024, beginning at 12:00 PM; the family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South. Memorial contributions may be made to West Michigan Cancer Center c/o the funeral home.

As we get older, it truly hurts to lose someone special, and Clarence was so much more! I have the greatest memories of him coaching me and our Parkview Nursing Home little league baseball team, I still have the home movies!!! To the Ray family, Clarence was a friend to the entire Downs family, he will surely be missed

Clarance was like a second father to me. Him and his wife helped my parents raise me along with their 5 children. I will always have fond memories of that. His kids were like my siblings and I'm glad I had the chance to be there for Clarance the last couple years. He could make ya laugh even if ya didn't feel like it. Told some good jokes, played the guitar and sang some Bimbo. I will always remember that. You will be greatly missed Clarance the Barance. Love ya!
