In accordance with her wish cremation will take place and she will be laid to rest privately at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice, c/o the funeral home.

Connie Sue Button of Kalamazoo, MI, passed away at Medilodge of Marshall on February 4, 2026. She was born in Kalamazoo on November 10, 1951, the daughter of the late Nathan and Mattie (Wintersteen) Button. Connie was a kind and loving person who was a pleasure to know. She served our country as a member of the US Army. After being honorably discharged she returned to make Kalamazoo her home. She worked hard as a Truck Driver. When not working she enjoyed spending time with family and friends and leaves behind many wonderful memories to cherish. She is survived by two sisters, Stella Sevanson and Joan Sauerman; a nephew, Bradley Nickerson; cousin, Marjorie Crocker; extended family and friends. She was also preceded in passing by a brother, Steven Button.
