Age 66, passed away late Wednesday afternoon, June 21, 2023. Daniel was born in Hollister, CA, on July 22, 1956, the son of Navitadad and Ramona (Martinez) Rodriguez. He was raised in San Antonio, TX. Having started as a migrant worker, Daniel worked for many years in construction and maintenance. He was very artistic from drawing or building, to assembling and painting car models or larger items. He was a fan of his home state teams, the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys. He always enjoyed being outdoors, either grilling, fishing or in his younger days, he enjoyed camping with his family. Most of all, Daniel loved his family and friends. Daniel is survived by his daughter, Trisha (John Rhea) Rodriguez; son, Daniel (Carolina Taylor) Rodriguez; grandchildren, Jaylin, Jamon, Nehemiah, Julian, Nikko, Celestina; great-grandson, Jahmir Rodriguez-Rhea; father, Navitadad (Diana) Rodriguez; siblings, Mero (Mary) Rodriguez, Margarito Rodriguez, Natividad Rodriguez, Manuel Rodriguez, Teresa (Fred) Sanchez, Mary Angel (Jesse) Villareal, Linda Longoria, Gilbert (Elsie) Espinoza, Mary Lou (Juan) Paderes, Stella DeLeon, Candy (Eloy) Mitchell, Melissa Rodriguez and Lupe (Jerry) Chavez; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ramona Martinez; his sisters, Rosalinda Moncada, Manuela Manriquez; his grandparents, Margarito and Antonia Rodriguez.
