The family will receive friends at Joldersma and Klein Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, beginning at 11:00 am, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 504 S. Westnedge Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49007. The family will receive visitors at the church beginning at 10:00 am. David will be laid to rest privately with his wife Helen at Genessee Prairie Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kalamazoo Humane Society and Kairos Dwelling, c/o the funeral home.
