No public services are planned. His ashes will be interred at Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park, South, near his parents and brother. At David’s request, there will not be a formal service; but he hopes many will raise a glass in his memory and lift a single finger wave to his life well lived.

Dear Denise, Erin, Paul and Families, We were sad to see that Dave had passed away. We would always stop and talk to him in Meijer's when we would see him shopping. At least now he isn't suffering and is in Heaven with his family members. We had a lot of good times back in the day doing things with the Youth Group. David, we did good!!! We raised our children to the best of our abilities and were able to set aside differences (okay, a lot of differences over the years) and end up better than we were. I hate that you ended up with Parkinson's and it took you from Erin and Tony, Paul and Tammy, our grandchildren - Makayla, Austin, Madilyn, McKinley, and Chloe too soon, They sure loved their Papa!!! Not long ago they shared memories of spending time with you and in true 12, 11, 9, and 2 years style... it was priceless, but we all laughed. Stubborn to the end you were. I'm thankful you are no longer in pain (and, yes, not causing me any more pain --- gotta' joke!). Best of all you are with your mom and dad, Bruce, and many others who were waiting to meet you in heaven. Denise
