In accordance to his wishes, cremation will take place and a gathering to celebrate Dean’s life will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Yorkville Community Church in the fellowship hall, located at 11523 East D Avenue, Richland, MI. A committal service with full military honors will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery located at 11501 Dickman Road in Augusta, Michigan on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. Those wishing to attend the committal ceremony are encouraged to arrive to the cortege area at the cemetery no later than 10:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to an educational fund for Dean’s grandchildren c/o Jennifer Munting. Family and friends are encouraged to leave a condolence message.
