Age 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Borgess Medical Center. Donald was born on April 5, 1934, in South Haven, MI, the son of the late Donald and Eva (Corrie) Powers. Donald enjoyed playing darts, trapping groundhogs and working in the HVAC field. After returning home from his service in the US Air Force, he married the love of his life, Patricia Alberta Townes, on December 31, 1955 in Allegan, MI. She preceded him in death. Donald was also preceded in death by two brothers, James and Ron. Surviving him are his children, Linda VandenBosch of Plainwell, Rex Powers of Texas and Gene Powers of Otsego; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary and Linda; and his brother, Bob.
