Donna Joan Abbs passed away into her heavenly home on Wednesday evening, April 3, 2024 at Fairview Living Center. Donna was born in Kalamazoo on July 25, 1937, the daughter of William T. and Jantena (Boven) Koning, deceased. She graduated from Comstock High School and was employed by the Upjohn Co. before retirement. She loved spending time with the family, traveling, reading and going out to eat. On July 24, 1989, in Port Huron, MI, Donna was united in marriage to Wenford “Butch” Abbs who preceded her in death on March 11, 2021. Donna is survived by her children, Jeffrey Sellers, Karyn Sue Sellers and Roger Sellers.; stepchildren, Becky (Eric) Kucks and Beth (Mike) Wolfe; many grandchildren and step-grandchildren; siblings, William (Lois) Koning, Richard (Mary Lou) Koning, Janice (Steve) Engbers, Natalie Wood Koning; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Thomas Koning.
