Douglas A. Walls Sr., age 71, of Allegan, MI, passed away at his home on November 23, 2025. He was born in Kalamazoo, MI, on August 10, 1954, the son of the late W.J. and Barbara (Bagley) Walls. Doug was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who leaves behind the legacy of a life well lived. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served our country with honor until being discharged early for medical reasons. He always remained faithful to our nation and supported those who fought for freedom. Doug found a new way to serve when he became a fireman for Bloomingdale Township. Working hard to support his family, he also took a job as a cab driver. When not working Doug enjoyed spending Sunday afternoons rooting for his beloved Lions, playing guitar and jamming out to rock ‘n’ roll music. Doug loved his family and his friends, and his smile and laughter will be missed. He is survived by two loving children, Monica (Joe) Luteyn, Douglas (Jessica) Walls Jr.; grandchildren, Joseph Luteyn II, Angela Luteyn, Jacob Luteyn, Alannah Walls and Jase Walls; great-grandson, Maxx Nix; brother, Hubert Walls; extended family and friends. He was also preceded in passing by his wife, Pamela (Matrau) Walls; sister, Brenda Marshall.
