A funeral service in witness to Eric’s life and faith will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Prairie Baptist Church, 11210 East PQ Ave., Scotts. Friends may call on the family on Friday evening, March 8, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the church and prior to the service on Saturday, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Eric will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery, Comstock. Memorial contributions may be made to Prairie Baptist Church, in c/o the funeral home, or to the family at Go Fund Me - Eric Woods.

My memories of Eric, Ginny and the kids will always be beautiful ones. Always laughter and never a tear unless we were laughing hard. If you knew them then you could see the love and how much they loved each other and they had a beautiful and special relationship that could withstand anything. Eric will be missed beyond any words that can be written or said but I do know the love and respect my family and I have always had for them and theirs. I pray that God gives Ginny and her family the strength to stay strong and hang on to one another and never let go and don't let the bad times break them. I want Ginny and her family know that I love them more than they could ever know and my heart breaks for them and I'm here for her if she needs someone to talk to.
