September 25, 1967 - May 21, 2024

A funeral service to honor and celebrate his life will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church 247 W. Lovell Street, Kalamazoo at 11:00 on Monday June 10th 2024. The family suggests that those who wish to honor his memory consider kind deeds or a donation to a charity of choice, or Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes.

Ian entertained me from the moment we met. I knew we\'d become good friends. He always had a smile and great stories to share. Of course, being friends, we went on a few trips (making new stories to tell) , it was always an adventure being with Ian - never knew what to expect. We shared a lot of laughs. He was there when I needed a good cry, too and always had a shoulder for me. Our adventures will always be with me. I'm deeply saddened knowing we will not cross paths again. You are going to be missed, my friend. To the Wine Shepherds! Love Lil Buddy

Ian you were a good friend you always had some great stories to tell and you had a lot of great memories you shared as well I'm gonna miss fixing your car for you man I appreciate you for being a friend of mine in some of my hardest times in my life I'll always remember you as my neighbor Ian I thank you for your encouragements you helped me with when you seen I was down and the appreciation you showed for how much I have grown from when we met til current time like I said you'll be missed buddy your legacy lives on
