Age 60 of Portage, passed away at Bronson Hospital on September 26, 2025. He was born in Kalamazoo on July 10, 1965, the son of Lawrence and Patricia (Byers) Knobloch. James was kind, loving and generous. He had a gentle nature and was a joy to know. After graduating high school in 1984 he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. After being honorably discharged he returned to make Kalamazoo his home. He worked hard as a truck driver to provide for those he loved. When not working James enjoyed working on cars and attending car shows. In 1993, he married Dawn (Huffstutter) Knobloch who survives. James is a proud father, husband, brother, son and friend who leaves behind many special memories to be cherished. He is survived by his loving wife, Dawn; two children, Andrew and Kaitlyn Knobloch; mother, Patricia Knobloch; siblings, Robert Knobloch, Lisa Knobloch, Paul (Tammy) Knobloch; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He preceded in passing by his father and stepmother, Lawrence (Judy) Knobloch; sister, Karen Knobloch; uncle, Charles Knobloch.
