A memorial service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM, at Radiant Church, 995 Romence Rd. Portage, MI, 49024, with Pastor Buckie Thornock officiating. Following the service family and friends are invited to stay for a time of fellowship. Memorial contributions may be given to Sparrow & Nest Designs (Bringing dignity and hope to individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness in the Kalamazoo area) or Radiant Church Kingdom Builders Fund, c/o the funeral home.

Jane Anne Schwabauer, age 68, passed away into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on December 31, 2025. Jane was born in Zeeland, MI, on August 17, 1957, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Anne (Vander Brook) Louis. A woman of faith, grace and generosity, Jane leaves behind the legacy of a life well lived. She had a servant’s heart which led to a career in nursing where she focused on pediatric care. Her love and tenderness for children and their families made a difference in countless lives. When not working her focus turned to her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother whose greatest joy came from watching her family grow. Her faith was the foundation of her life and she was a member of Radiant Church where she served on the Welcome Team, made countless friends, and shared her faith with others. Jane loved people, and she will be missed by all who knew her. On April 30, 1982, she married the love of her life, Jerry D. Schwabauer who survives. She is also survived by 2 sons, Adam Schwabauer and Eric (Chelsea) Schwabauer; grandchildren, Lucy, Michael, Kate and Peyton Schwabauer; brother, Fred (Kathy) Louis; in-laws, Dave (Sue) Schwabauer, Sue Hoeksema, Larry (Judy) Schwabauer; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. She was also preceded in passing by a sister, Mary Bricker.
