Jeffrey Scott DeBoer passed away at Medilodge Hospice Care on August 30, 2017at the age of 59. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Grace DeBoer of Texas Township, Kalamazoo, Michigan. Jeffrey is survived by his loving best friend of 27 years, Nancy Keesee and her family, which includes Gloria Slater and Cora Grimm of Kalamazoo. He is also survived by his two brothers, Michael of Ann Arbor, Michigan and Jon of Port Washington, Wisconsin. He is lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jeffrey DeBoer was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1958. He attended the Mattawan School system for many years and graduated from Onekama High School in 1976 and went on to study Hospitality Management at Ferris State. He also received degrees in Business Management and Food Service. He performed many different jobs throughout his career. Jeff enjoyed sports, especially baseball and basketball, as well as movies, TV comedy shows and spending time with his family. Jeff was very gracious with his time and liked helping others whenever possible. Thank you for keeping Jeff’s loved ones in your prayers at this time.
