Age 86, passed away on November 10, 2022. Jeralyn was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on November 11, 1935, the sixth child of the late Orrie and Margery (Wales) Geelhoed. She was raised in Grand Rapids in the Home Acres area and attended Kelloggsville Schools, graduating in 1953. After graduation, she moved to Kalamazoo where she would meet her husband while working at National Foods. Jeralyn was a long-time member of Voyage Church, formerly Fourth Reformed Church. On July 20, 1957, she married Robert E. Bushouse, who preceded her in death on December 1, 2021. She survived by her son, Brian Bushouse; grandchildren, Heather (Al) Perkins, Jennifer (Scott) Schluter, Alan Park, Courtney Bushouse and Nicole Kellermeyer; five great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Jeralyn was preceded in death by her daughter and son in-law, Wendalyn and David Park and grandsons, Christopher and James Park. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Voyage Church, 6339 Atlantic Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49009, Pastor Glenn Adams officiating. Memorial contributions in Jeralyn’s memory may be given to Voyage Church.
