John A. Rabb, age 81, passed away at Bronson Hospital on December 15, 2025. He was born in Kalamazoo on November 24, 1944, the son of the late Alex and Winona (Melching) Rabb. John was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He worked hard to provide for his family making the commute from Mattawan to Ft. Wayne daily to work at Wise Business Forms. When not working he enjoyed spending time in his yard, was a loyal UofM football fan and enjoyed golfing and bowling. He was a gifted woodworker with an artistic eye for details. John also took time to relax and could often be found enjoying the close of day with his favorite whisky cocktail in hand. Above all John had a profound love and dedication to his wife Sharon who he married on November 28, 1980. She preceded him in passing on July 12, 2025; John’s heart never healed from her loss. His smile, laughter and love will be missed by all who knew him and he will be remembered fondly by his family and friends. John is survived by his children, Leslie (Craig) Owens, Kevin (Emilie) Rabb, Kimberlee (Nicholas) Gianakis, Korey (Rebecca) Rabb; grandchildren, Tommy Unold, Ally Unold, Cody Owens, Cory Owens, Carli Owens, Kole (Kayla) Rabb, Tristan Rabb, Kennedy Rabb, Dylan Rabb, Alexis Rabb, London Rabb, Braylin Rabb, Keegan Rabb; great-grandchildren, Avery Rabb, Charlie Rabb and Galileo Rabb; siblings, Dan (Pat) Rabb, Bob Rabb and Beth (Mark) Provenzano; sister-in-law, Di; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
