June Marie Vrhel passed away November 12, 2025, at home with her family at her side. She was born June 21, 1934, to Alfred and Elizabeth Falk. She had six siblings, all of whom are deceased. On November 22, 1952, she married her high school sweetheart, James, who survives. She was the ‘best mom ever’ to Connie (Dan) Holmes, Jimmy Vrhel, and Al Vrhel, grandchildren Cristin (DJ) Richmond, Dawn (Josh) Slavings, Erica (Cole) Gibson, and several great grandchildren. For several years, June drove school bus for Decatur Public Schools. But she mostly loved taking care of her family. June loved cooking and baking for them, as well as gardening, painting and reading. The family will be forever grateful for all the fun and loving memories that she created for them.
