Age 62, died Friday, August 4, 2017 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Kathy was born in Niagara Falls, New York on July 9, 1955, the daughter of Cary A. and Geneva F. Walker. She loved gardening, art, and spending time with family and friends. She served honorably in the United States Navy and dedicated herself to helping others as a Registered Nurse. Surviving is life partner, Jack Thomas of Knoxville Tennessee; son, Shawn (Golden Brown) Johnson of Charleston, West Virginia; daughter, Jennifer (James Kolka II) Ward of Kalamazoo Michigan; brother, Donald (Kathleen Burzynski) Walker of West Seneca, New York; and one grandchild, Seth Hughes of Beckley, West Virginia. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents.
