Age 87 of Kalamazoo passed away early Sunday morning, November 2, 2025. Ken was born in South Bend, IN on March 1, 1938, the son of Elmer and Evelyn (Sandberg) Worsham. On May 2, 1958, he married the love of his life, Ardith Sweitzer who preceded him in death in 2024. Ken was a well-known master electrician and owner of A & K Electric Service. After his retirement he became an electrical inspector. He also was a Master Mason, having been with Kalamazoo Anchor Lodge for over 66 years. He is remembered for being a “chain-gang” member at the football games when his kids were at Comstock High School. The family has vivid memories of being towed by him on an innertube behind the boat on Gun Lake. He was an active member of the Otsego Church of God. Previously, he and Ardith had been active at Eastwood Church of God. He and Ardith enjoyed several trips to Hawaii. His favorite was the “Big Island” of Hawaii. More than anything, he will be remembered as being a great father. Ken is survived by his children, Steve (Louise) Worsham, Wendy Worsham-Whittle, Tim (Shirl) Worsham; grandchildren, Ellen (Jason) Blasing, Ashley Worsham, Stacie (Jeremy) Hodge, Forrest Whittle; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Barb Wynn and Mary (Gary) Law; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends. Besides his wife, Ken was preceded in death by a sister, Lynn (Valfrid) Dinvald.
